The Stomach Hurts

Today, Khoa was playing with blocks when his little sister ran up and knocked them over. He shouted, "I hate you so much!" His stomach was burning and his face was red.

Khoa felt like there was a round, red lump in his stomach that was jumping around! He held his stomach and shouted, “This lump is so uncomfortable!”

The lump of anger made Khoa scream, throw a pillow, and scold his brother: "You are a destroyer!" The lump of anger grew bigger and bigger like a ball!

Mom came, not scolding Khoa. Mom gently sat down, touched his hand: "Are you feeling angry?" Khoa nodded in surprise.

“Let’s try breathing,” – Mom said. Breathing: inhale… exhale… The lump gradually got smaller, smaller… only like a piece of candy.

Khoa smiled: “The anger is gone!” He hugged his mother and apologized to his sister. The sky seemed brighter.

Lesson learned: learn to calm down
